Dr Ted Frackson

Doctor of Chiropractic, MSc Nutritition

Dr. Frackson is a native Victorian who developed an interest in Chiropractic while playing rugby in high school.

After studies at Camosun College and UVic, he attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto where he graduated in 1992. Since then he has maintained his passion for learning by attaining a year’s post graduate training in sports injury treatment, spinal exercise rehabilitation and maternity/pediatrics.

A married father of three children, Dr. Frackson devotes a good portion of his practice to the treatment of expectant moms and children. Providing drug free treatment for pregnant women with back or pelvic pain is especially gratifying.

As one who has trained for and run 4 marathons he also enjoys treating athletes and those just trying to stay in shape through exercise and diet. In 2009 he received his Masters of Science in Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. The importance of diet in his marathon training led to the pursuit of this degree.

Learning about topics such as Kinesiotaping (as seen in the last 5 Olympic games), Functional Movement Systems used by athletic trainers to screen for injury risk, and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization used in Europe for the past 15 years to break damaging movement patterns, Dr. Frackson continues to be well trained in the latest forms of physical injury treatment.

Dr. Taylor Trotter

Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Trotter was born in Victoria and spent her childhood in BC before moving to Ontario. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from University of Western Ontario before attending Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. After graduating, she practiced in a small Ontario town for some time before deciding to move back to BC to be closer to family.

Dr. Trotter believes that family is important, which is why her emphasis is on care for the entire family, including a special focus on treating pregnant women. Dr. Trotter is an avid learner and welcomes the opportunity to learn new procedures so she can provide the best care for her patients.

In her off time she enjoys gardening and hiking, as well as reading books and drinking tea with her husband and her cat.

Amy Wallace

Receptionist

As Dr. Frackson’s niece and patient of many years, Amy knows how the chiropractic lifestyle improves full body motion and improves quality of life, through stretches, exercise and re-alignment.

Born in B.C and raised in Victoria, Amy has always called beautiful Vancouver Island home. When she’s not answering calls and questions or booking your next appointment, Amy’s favourite things to do are cook delicious dairy-free and gluten-free meals, walk our beaches with her spouse and two year old dog Penny and shop at craft fairs and stores to find beautiful handmade local goods to support her community

Krista Frackson

Office Manager

Krista, our office manager, as well as Dr. Ted’s wife, has been working in the office since it began in 1992. Over the years (as their children got older) Krista increased her time in the office and now has the role of office manager. This includes reception duties, billings, payroll and accounting.

The most recent undertaking for Krista has been to transition the office to a paperless charting and billing software. It has been extremely exciting to watch our small practice with just one chiropractor grow into a multi-disciplinary health centre. The greatest joy for Krista is when patients comment on the wonderful family atmosphere they feel when visiting the office. That is the greatest goal for both Krista and Dr. Ted, to treat each person that walks into the office as family and to do their utmost to find the care that is best for them.

Krista and Dr. Ted have loved being able to raise their family in the city of Victoria, where they grew up together. They have three children, all of whom are attending post secondary education. In 2016 Krista and Dr. Ted will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. Friends and family are continually amazed that this couple can work together and stay happily married.

When they are not working together in the office, Krista and Dr. Ted love to spend time with family and friends. You will also discover that this couple has an extreme passion for travel. These holidays include rest and relaxation along with some ziplining, snorkelling, hiking and any other exciting excursions that Krista seems inclined to sign them up for. Krista feels blessed to spend a great part of her day with the wonderful patients that attend the office, whom over time, have come to feel like part of the family.
