Dr Ted Frackson

Doctor of Chiropractic, MSc Nutritition

Dr. Frackson is a native Victorian who developed an interest in Chiropractic while playing rugby in high school.

After studies at Camosun College and UVic, he attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto where he graduated in 1992. Since then he has maintained his passion for learning by attaining a year’s post graduate training in sports injury treatment, spinal exercise rehabilitation and maternity/pediatrics.

A married father of three children, Dr. Frackson devotes a good portion of his practice to the treatment of expectant moms and children. Providing drug free treatment for pregnant women with back or pelvic pain is especially gratifying.

As one who has trained for and run 4 marathons he also enjoys treating athletes and those just trying to stay in shape through exercise and diet. In 2009 he received his Masters of Science in Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. The importance of diet in his marathon training led to the pursuit of this degree.

Learning about topics such as Kinesiotaping (as seen in the last 5 Olympic games), Functional Movement Systems used by athletic trainers to screen for injury risk, and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization used in Europe for the past 15 years to break damaging movement patterns, Dr. Frackson continues to be well trained in the latest forms of physical injury treatment.

Dr Jordan Millar

Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Jordan Millar was born and raised in Smithers, BC, and received her first chiropractic adjustment when she was an infant. A regular chiropractic patient since childhood, and the only treatment that helped her neck pain as a teenager, it became her passion to help others experience chiropractic care for themselves.

She attended both UVIC and UBC, and obtained a degree in archaeology. After receiving her Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, she continued to study prenatal, postnatal and pediatric care with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, and has a special passion for treating pregnant women, kids and babies. She is also Webster technique certified. Webster technique is a special chiropractic pelvic technique that encourages optimal positioning of the baby. Pregnancy support pillows assist the pregnant mother for comfortable care.

Dr. Jordan is dedicated towards helping families have healthy pregnancies and births. As a mother of two following midwifery-assisted births (one hospital and one a home-birth), she supports attachment-parenting and helps families through the challenges of breastfeeding, co-sleeping, and baby-wearing. Through chiropractic, infants and children are assisted naturally through their milestones for optimal growth and development.

In her spare time, Dr. Jordan can be found hiking up Mt Doug, playing with her kids, travelling, and reading. She is an essential oils enthusiast and loves to make her own natural cleaning and beauty products. Organic local whole foods are important to her and she also has fun attempting to grow veggies in her garden. Dr. Jordan is also active as an advocate in childhood cancer awareness and a member of Momcology.

Brodie Brookes

Registered Massage Therapist

After completing the Massage Therapy program at Westcoast College of Massage Therapy, Brodie has continued to live in and call Victoria her home. She has lived here since 2001 when she began working towards becoming a Massage Therapist. This year, July 2015, she has earned and will be awarded her 10 year pin.

Brodie was first was introduced to massage through sports, particularly, soccer. It was at this time she was referred to massage by a team therapist. From that day onwards she became interested in pursuing a career in a therapy that worked so well for her recovery. Since practising she has enjoyed numerous aspects of massage therapy and has found a great balance in treating many different areas for many different reasons.

Outside of work, Brodie enjoys spending as much time with her 2 children doing as many different things as possible. They love the outdoors, sports, the water and being big local fans of what Victoria has to offer.

Brodie still engages and enjoys playing soccer locally and challenging herself to the physical and mental fitness of being an athlete. Being active has always played a big role in her life which has lead her to massage, chiropractic and many other modalities for recovery. She feels very lucky that she has a career she believes in and loves to provide.

Being a part of the Frackson Health group motivates her every day to go to work and be the best therapist she can be. The team at Frackson Health motivates her to learn every day, take on new challenges and enjoy every day at the office. She is always intrigued to meet new clients, new patients and take on new challenges. Look forward to the future.

Amy Wallace

Amy was born just outside of Vancouver B.C, but has been raised in Victoria her whole life and she wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

Working in an office that feels like family is great, working in an office that is family is even better. As a patient of Dr. Frackson for many years and the niece of Krista Frackson, Amy knows first hand how the chiropractic lifestyle improves full body motion and improves quality of life.

She joined the office family in Spring 2014, when Jaime went on to have baby number two, the beautiful "Annalee", Jaime is now back with us and Amy is here to stay.

When she's not the smiling face behind the front desk, Amy enjoys socializing with friends, going out for dinner, as well as heading to the movie theatre to catch the latest flick. One of her favourite hobbies is cooking healthy and delicious meals with family and friends, but due to her food allergies she's always on the hunt for the best "dairy free" recipes for dinner and dessert.

Victoria has and always will be Amy's home, she loves the beauty, people, diversity and weather of our beautiful little Vancouver Island.

Krista Frackson

Office Manager

Krista, our office manager, as well as Dr. Ted’s wife, has been working in the office since it began in 1992. Over the years (as their children got older) Krista increased her time in the office and now has the role of office manager. This includes reception duties, billings, payroll and accounting.

The most recent undertaking for Krista has been to transition the office to a paperless charting and billing software. It has been extremely exciting to watch our small practice with just one chiropractor grow into a multi-disciplinary health centre. The greatest joy for Krista is when patients comment on the wonderful family atmosphere they feel when visiting the office. That is the greatest goal for both Krista and Dr. Ted, to treat each person that walks into the office as family and to do their utmost to find the care that is best for them.

Krista and Dr. Ted have loved being able to raise their family in the city of Victoria, where they grew up together. They have three children, all of whom are attending post secondary education. In 2016 Krista and Dr. Ted will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. Friends and family are continually amazed that this couple can work together and stay happily married.

When they are not working together in the office, Krista and Dr. Ted love to spend time with family and friends. You will also discover that this couple has an extreme passion for travel. These holidays include rest and relaxation along with some ziplining, snorkelling, hiking and any other exciting excursions that Krista seems inclined to sign them up for. Krista feels blessed to spend a great part of her day with the wonderful patients that attend the office, whom over time, have come to feel like part of the family.
